Miscible with organic solvents (e.g., ethanol, acetone)
Hydrolyzes with water to form silica sol and releases heat
Becomes turbid in humid air; clears upon standing

APPLICATIONS

MESIL® T28 can be used to synthesize high-purity silica and quartz.
MESIL® T28 can be used as a binder for refractory fillers and pigments.
MESIL® T28 can be used as a raw material for silica gels.
MESIL® T28 can be used as a crosslinker for silicone sealants.

STORAGE

Must be stored in the original, tightly sealed container and protected from moisture. Expiration of the shelf life specified on the label does not necessarily mean the product is no longer usable. Expired product may only be used after passing laboratory testing.
